Cambridge, MA–Former Warrior Football standout, Anthony Fabiano, who graduated in 2011, recently participated in the nationally televised Harvard versus Yale game on Versus.
Fabiano, who wears #77 and is a backup left tackle for the Crimson, played in six games for Harvard this year. Anthony was a backup up to 6’7″ and 306 pound tackle, Kevin Murphy. Murphy is expected to be a 4th-6th round pick in the NFL draft.
During his scholastic days, Fabiano was an All-State TE and DE for the Warriors. He was a member of the 2010 and 2009 Middlesex League Small Championship teams.
“This year was really a learning experience for me,” said Fabiano. He continued, “Luckily I had a pro prospect to learn from and he was able to show me the balance between academics and athletics. Playing in front of 53,000 people against Yale, on national television, is something I wont soon forget.”
Fabiano and his teammates were part of an IVY League Championship team this past fall. “I never thought I would win a championship my first season. Sharing that moment with friends and family on the field was awesome.”
