Wakefield, MA–Coach Mike Boyages recently announced that Coach Rick Quattrochi-’73 has resigned from his position as an assistant coach. Coach “Q” has been an integral member of the coaching staff the past few seasons.

“Coach “Q” has been a very important piece to our coaching staff the past few seasons. I am sad to see him go, but understand the committment he makes during the season has a direct impact on his business,” said Boyages. Coach “Q’ owns Michael-Maria’s Landscaping and has found it hard to manage both his highly successful business and the grueling requirements of coaching in recents years as his business grows.

“Rick did a lot of things for the kids that go unnoticed by a lot of people.  He never did it for the recognition, but I know all of the kids who have played for him not only respect him as a coach, but also a person.  I wish him well.”

The Warrior Club salutes Coach “Q” for his many years of service and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
