Warriors Crack Globe Top 20

Boston, MA-This week’s edition of the Boston Globe Top 20 Football Poll finds the Wakefield Warriors checking in at the No. 20 spot.  This marks the first time the Warriors have been in the Top 20 since the 2008 season.

The Warriors lead the Middlesex League Small Division with a 2-0 record and are 6-1 overall. The Warrior defense, under the direction of first year coordinator Steve Cummings, is ranked No. 1 in Division 2A.

The No. 20 Warriors face Middlesex League Small Division rival Stoneham on Friday, October 28th at 7:00PM. This will mark the final home game at Landrigan Field for the 2011 season.
